Local Weather Forecasts
The weather in Scotland is actually very similar to England and just as unpredictable. In general it might be a couple of degrees colder, being more Northerly, but that doesn’t mean it is always cooler. Indeed quite often there is bright sunshine in the Highlands when the rest of the UK is covered in cloud or rain.
In addition, during the winter, it can be quite mild by the Loch while a couple of miles away, on the hills, it can be snowing.
Gruinyards is available all year and to date there have never been any serious disruptions to guests due to snow.
Another great advantage of the location is the very long summer days, when it barely gets dark at all!
